Our Basic Packages for 2009 are:

Wedding and Reception $1500
Wedding Only $  500
Reception Only $1200

The fee for the combined Wedding and Reception includes items listed below. Of course if you are having only the wedding, or just the rehearsal on the premises, than certain items below would not apply.

You may also pick and choose any items from the section Other Options and Add-ons as your budget allows.
If you wish more professional assistance, we have our own in-house full-service Wedding Coordinator, or we have other wedding coordinators shown in our Links section.
But more and more, brides are choosing to do their own coordinating with the help of family and friends.
During the initial consultation, proprietors Mike and Patricia O'Brien can recommend florists, caterers, DJ's, photographers, videographers, cake bakeries, bridal gown designers, tux shops, custom jewelry, dance instructors, rental companies, limousines, horse-drawn carriages, and ceremony officiates (pastors, priests, ministers, justices of the peace).

Or alternately, you may consult by the hour with Lydia, our in-house coordinator, who can tailor and customize your event to your individual taste and preferences. Her rates are extremely reasonable. Lydia can help you cleverly cut costs and maximize extras. Spending a few hours with her can save you many costs and problems. Remember, a professional full-service coordinator can handle many of the tedious details of wedding planning and preparation. This takes a big load off you and your family and friends, allowing you to better enjoy your coming special day.

Non-Approved Caterer Fee

Currently we require any catering to be done by our list of approved caterers. We guarantee they will do a fabulous job and are bonded and insured.
But we recognize that many couples for budget reasons, would like to use family or their own catering service.
So to avoid potential liability problems and cover insurance costs required by non-insured caterers, we will allow other catering options, but require a non-refundable fee of $350.



Wedding and Reception Package $1500

plus $250 (refundable) cleaning/security deposit


• Initial 2 hour consultation, and general assistance with vendor selection
• Pre-wedding photo opportunities: Pond, waterfall, gazebo, fountain in back courtyard, secret garden area and oak tree meadow. Up to 4 acres of woods.
• Full use of Victorian Hill Gardens beginning morning of event
• Wedding rehearsal on any available prior day (1-2 hours)
• Back courtyard with fountain, outdoor dining area
• Tables and chairs for up to 80 guests included. More available for rental fee.
• Guest book table
• Gift table
• Set up and tear down of tables and chairs by our staff
• Any color floor length linen for each guest table
• Linens for food tables, gift table and cake tables
• Outdoor dance floor (21x14) overlooking the reception area and courtyard fountain
• 8x20 screened food prep site or beverage bar site
• Glass urn with spigot for serving lemonade, iced tea or water
• Wedding arch ready to decorate as you choose
• White lights in the trees and upward lighting into the trees
• Fairytale like lighting of the property at night with white lights on the house, gazebo, pond, dance floor, trees and all through the perimeter of the property
• Parking on the premises


Payment Policy:

$1500 Total Site Fee to be paid as follows:

$500 Deposit to Secure Date (refundable if cancelled at least 45 days before event)
$1000 due 14 days prior to Event plus $250 Cleaning/Security Deposit*
     ** Cleaning/Security deposit refundable if no additional cleanup or damage occurs

If you are having a Wedding Only or Reception Only, a similar payment schedule applies, as just outlined. That is, 1/3 deposit and the balance 14 days prior to event.

Rehearsal Dinner

Although the property is available at no cost to do a rehearsal any prior day that does not already have an event, you may want to also consider booking our property immediately after the rehearsal for a rehearsal dinner. Our dining patio can be arranged for a nice intimate sit down or buffet-style meal. There are caterers who can provide elegant or economy meals for your bridal ceremony participants as your budget allows.

The fee for the use of the grounds for a rehearsal dinner is: $300
We will provide up to 3 round or square tables (with linens) and 24 chairs for this event.
Extra items can be rented at the fees shown below.
Or alternately, if you wish inside dining, you can consider one Old Town Auburn's many fine restaurant dining rooms.
There are several we can direct you to.

Other Rental Items
If you are not using a catering or rental service, you can rent from us anything below for the event. The costs sometimes vary from what’s shown, so be sure and call us to get a firm price once you have counts of items determined.
